CASTLE’S MUSEUM
WILHELM FRIEDRICH
COUNT OF LYNAR AND THE
20th of July 1944
This exhibition was first shown in 2005 and displays the life of Wilhelm Friedrich Count of Lynar. The exhibition especially tries to answer the following questions: what where the reasons for his participation in the resistance movement? What happened to his family? What are the consequences of his actions for the generations living today?
The visitor is lead through four rooms, where by means of photographical documentation and short texts the life of the resistance fighter is being shown. Additionally a 15 minute movie can be watched with the title “A cross made out of pine wood”.
The exhibition also tries to address the younger generation, school groups or other groups of young people therefore are always welcome.
